How could this possibly be related to the alien they needed to neutralize?
A starred paragraph in an amateur-looking newsletter caught his eye. School singing contest: Carys Fletcher, first prize. Jack pictured the girl in their cell, a bit younger, standing nervously on a dark stage with a poorly-tuned piano ringing behind her...
