Notes: For consci_fan_mo. The prompt was "Immortal Sins" for tw100 but I didn't get it finished in time to post in both places.
Owen was irritated, that was clear. He'd wanted to change some details of their policy on alien experimentation; Jack had denied the request. For good reasons--Owen knew that. Right?
Jack never dreamed Owen would go this far. Spite and revenge were ugly things, even uglier when the perpetrator took such obvious pleasure in them. Jack watched as Owen picked up the last donut, the one Jack had been saving, and bit into it, making obscene noises as he chewed.
"I will never forget this, Owen," Jack said darkly.
Owen raised an eyebrow. "Never's a long time, Jack. Especially for you."
