tw100 challenge 137, Scotland, and inspired by country drives my parents took us on many years ago, and the long waits in the car while my dad photographed the local livestock.
"Faster, Jack, the device is moving again!" Toshiko's head was bent over her tracking screen.
Jack's fingers tapped the steering wheel. "But we're not. Moving, that is."
"It's crossing..." Tosh looked over at a map spread between them. "Loch Rannoch. Over water, it could broadcast for miles before it explodes! We have to—" Finally she looked up and out of the windscreen. "...Oh."
"Yeah. Ideas?"
"Maybe they're as friendly as they are cute?"
One of the shaggy brown beasts leaned companionably against the SUV's grill and bellowed.
"I'm just glad you wore your boots today. C'mon. And avoid the horns!"
